Outdoor activities in the Algarve

The Algarve is well-known because of the various activities that can be set out during your staying. We have made a first selecting of activities that might be interesting to explore the Algarve in different ways.

Boat Trips

An alternative way to explore the beautiful coastline is to go by boat. You will see very rare cliff formations. From Albufeira to Lagos there are many hidden caves. Take a nice coastal cruise to discover the secluded beaches and caves of Gale. It is possible to make a stop for swimming or to take photographs.

Game and Reef Fishing

The Portuguese love the sea and fishing. Every day they go out to catch fresh fish. You can share this experience by joining one of the fishing boats. Such boat trips are organized from Vilamoura. On one of these trips you can try to catch delicacies like mackerel, sea bream, bass, grouper, conger eel or even moray eel. Pine Cliffs is located just 15 kilometers east of ALBUFEIRA . This golf course lies along the coastline at impressive cliffs and with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Entertaining Parks

Just 10 kilometers away from ALBUFEIRA you will find the amusement park Zoomarine. Zoomarine offers a wide range of shows: dolphins, sea lions and seals.

There are also different Aqua Parks, which will be a great success with your kids. Nearby you will find: Slide and Splash in Lagoa, Waterbomb, The Big Hole. Krazy World is located in Algoz. This park is a combination of a zoo and amusement park. It will be fun for all ages.

Jeep safari
